Bus Fun For Everyone

When the tobacco industry is reproached at targeting children, it raises many eyebrows. When C-Tran does it, parents become ecstatic to give their children a fun activity book that teaches respect for the environment and alternative modes of transportation. A fifteen page children's activity book was made available to the public at various local fairs. Activities in the book include numerous drawing, coloring, and word-puzzle activities with "Captain C-TRAN Your Transit Superhero". Teachers had even contacted C-TRAN to acquire books for their classrooms.
C-TRAN had 20,000 booklets printed at a total cost of $1,500. Advertising for the project was accomplished at the events for free.
