CTA U-PASS

Chicago Transit Authority creates the Compact Travel Agent

Chicago Transit Authority created the U-PASS, allowing full-time students from area universities to use Chicago’s transit system for free. In order to promote their University Pass, CTA created a U-PASS guide. It is the size of the average business card, but when unfolded this petite paper transforms into a full-scale transit assistant. When unfolded this 2x3 inch card, transforms into a 22x9 inch information center. On one side of this accordion style guide is a complete downtown Chicago bus route map including some of the hot spots downtown and the train schedules. On the reverse side you will find a complete guide of how to use, maintain, and take full advantage of the CTA U-PASS. The cover of the guide also doubles as a cardholder for your U-PASS.
