The links below point to free downloadable images separated into six categories. These images are available for download and use in your publications -- both print and web-based. To download an image, click on the image. A new window will open with a high resolution (300 dpi) image. Right click on that image and select "Save picture as." You will then be prompted for a location to save the image.

Additional photography resources are also available to public transit and commuter assistance professionals from the following organizations.

American Public Transit Association: APTA has compiled a limited collection of public transit images that can be used via permission from that organization. To view the images, go to apta.com.

Association from Commuter Transportation: If you are a member of ACT, you can access numerous illustrations depicting various forms of commute alternatives. The ACT web site is accessible at actweb.org. Images are available to members only.

Pedestrian & Bicycle Information Center: The PBIC has an extensive collection of bicycle and pedestrian images available for download at its site at pedbikeimages.org.

Walkable Communities, Inc: A non-profit corporation that is organized for the express purposes of helping whole communities, whether they are large cities or small towns, or parts of communities, i.e. neighborhoods, business districts, parks, school districts, subdivisions, specific roadway corridors, etc., become more walkable and pedestrian friendly.
